Restorative Yoga
Rest, Relax and Recharge…Restorative yoga is a gentle therapeutic practice focusing on deep relaxation to nourish the body, mind, and spirit.
Relaxing and letting go of stressors can be challenging in our busy worlds. Eilis completed her Restorative Yoga training with Ciara Cronin in The Yoga Room, Dublin.
Restorative yoga is ideal for:
Soothing our nervous system
Reducing stress
Regulating emotional imbalance
Facilitating better digestion
Nurturing overall well-being
A restorative yoga class lasts 90 minutes and involves a carefully designed sequence of supine, seated or side-lying poses on the yoga mat. Holding comfortable, supported poses for extended periods promotes physical and mental rejuvenation.
We use props such as bolsters, blocks, bricks, and blankets to encourage a state of ease, allowing the body to release tension and the mind to find calmness.
The practice ends with Yoga Nidra, an ancient guided meditation technique which leads to the most profound state of relaxation.
You'll feel rejuvenated, at ease, and renewed when you leave.
